Ever since mankind woke up to the era of Industrialization, there came along the need of invention of a technology that could ensure efficient functioning of the machineries along with the workforce. There is no denying the popular saying that, “Necessity is the mother of all inventions” and thus the will to overcome the challenges that surfaced during the course of evolution of Industrialization, led to the birth of a technology that we in the modern times refer to as HVAC.
HVAC as it stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, is a technology of indoor comfort and works on collective underlying principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
Not diving too deep into the technicalities and leaving the part with our ingenious engineers, let us try to understand the significance of these systems in the industries. The HVAC system becomes a direly required facility in the industries (warehouses, factories, manufacturing plants), as these systems help in controlling the temperature, humidity and air quality to provide a comfortable environment to both the inanimate (machinery and tools) as well as the animate (human resources involved) aspect of the industries.
Heating is accomplished by heating the air within the building using radiators. Ventilation is achieved by maintaining clean air in the space and extracting polluted air out of the targeted space. Air conditioning lowers the temperature and maintains appropriate humidity levels.
All of these processes play a significant role in not only preventing the outside climatic conditions from hampering the industries, but also to overcome the shortcomings of the internal environment such as rusting of the machineries due to excessive humidity, compromised efficiency of the engines as a result of overheating issues, as well as the health hazards associated with the human force that may tag along as a result of working in conditions with the presence of micro/nano pollutants, pathogenic microbes, or those that interfere with their thermostasis, to list a few.
In the world where bringing a HVAC technology at the doorstep of your home or workplace no longer remains an arduous task, we at our organisation endear the calling of the environment, and are thus progressively and relentlessly working towards the vision of making these systems more energy efficient and available to all in terms of cost effectiveness.
